Thoughts On The World

Well, here it is Friday May 13, 2005, and I see its Friday the 13th, Well, hope none of you are superstitious. Anyway found a interesting article on CBS News website, Pit Bulls Owner Killed In Home. The dogs had no apparent history of aggrssion and described as well-kept, attacked their owner inside his suburban St. Louis home, authorities said Thurday. Sheriff's Lt. Craig McGuire said officers were Tuesday called by friends of Reddings who went to the man's locked home when they were unable to reach him, then peered through a window and saw him motionless on the living room floor. an apparent attack by his 8-year-old female and a 3-year-old male dogs. The animals were turned over to St. Charles County Animal Control and will be euthanized, director of humane services Theresa Williams said. And then wonder why people keep these kind of animal around, there has been many attacks by pit bulls, I don't understand, they know how unperdictiable they are, but yet they still own these animals. Comments? see below to leave one.

Thought On The World

Well, congress is returning to the controversial topic of whether to renew key portions of the Patriot Act. They are going to have hearing on Tuesday on as many as 16 portions that deal with computer and Internet surveillance.

Bush tells Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili he as solid friend in America.

The House is taking up a bill that would turn many gang-related violent offenses into federal cases, with mandatory sentences and an expansion of crimes punishable by death and crimes for which teens would face federal trials.

Wow, so much going on in the world and here in the United States it's hard to decide what to talk about, it's early here and I'm not much in the mood to comment on the above news. So, I'll just leave it for "Your Information Notes in the news". Later

More Thoughts On The World

AP) Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid called President Bush "a loser" during a civics discussion with a group of teenagers at a high school on Friday. Now this kind of comment from a senator is disturbing to me. Doesn't he go over his notes before addressing a audience? Or was the comment made on the fly? He stated he liked President Bush's father by saying, "The man's father is a wonderful human being," But bad mouths President Bush's policies? Just because you don't like the man's policies doesn't mean you go and attack him in such a personal way. And we elect these people to represent "US" the public that put them where they are and they (Congressmen, Senators, representatives.) have to bad mouth one another, what's up with that?

Thoughts On The World

Here are my thoughts on what is going on in the world today.

Yesterday President Bush talked about democracies and freedom from tyranny and oppression, take a close look at our involvement in Iraq. Aren't these people suffering from what we the United States is trying to accomplish there? Seems to me we are hurting more people then we are helping. Its hard to watch television and see the faces of a people that for over 50 years had a man that didn't care if his people lived or died. He himself put thousands if not tens of thousands to death during the time he Saddam Hussein was the President of Iraq.
